About the game

It starts simple.
It doesn't stay that way.

You play as a lone ranger fighting through hordes of corrupted creatures with your bow, abilities and whatever upgrades you can stack together during the run.

The longer you survive, the worse it gets. Basic enemies give way to tougher threats, ranged attackers, charging enemies, stealthy assassins and magic users — all forcing you to keep moving and adapt.

“Build something strong enough to survive the night. Then see what turns up to ruin it.”
What you'll be doing

Build. Survive.
Go again.

01

Fast Bow Combat

Keep moving, keep firing and don't let the horde box you in. Push damage, fire rate, penetration and crits until the bow starts doing stupid amounts of work.

02

Stack Mid-Run Upgrades

Every level gives you another choice. Build around damage, movement, area attacks, survivability and more, then see how far you can take it.

03

Permanent Mastery

Runs still matter when they're over. Spend mastery points between attempts to make your ranger stronger and give the next run a better starting point.

04

Keep Moving

Dash through danger, reposition and create space before the horde closes in. Standing still is usually a very bad idea.

05

Enemy Variety

Expect ranged attackers, chargers, stealthy assassins, magic users, heavy enemies and bosses that force you to change how you move and fight.

06

More Is Coming

The current game is only the start. More enemies, upgrades, bosses, environments and ways to build your ranger are already planned.

From the game

The night gets
busy.

Still growing

Plenty more on the way.

The Last Ranger is being built independently and is still in active development. The focus is simple: make each run feel better, give you more ways to break your build, and keep adding new problems for you to survive.

  • More enemy types
  • More upgrades and build options
  • More bosses
  • More environments
  • More combat polish and effects
  • More reasons to hit “one more run”
The night is waiting
